Check Out The 2010 BMW 1 - Series
The 2010 BMW 1-series is an upscale small car, which is consistently rated among the best of all luxury small cars. The 1-series comes in two different trims, which are 128i and the 135i. The 128i is a sedan and the 135i is a convertible.
Engine options within the 2010 BMW 1-series are limited. Both the 128i and 135i trims come with a 3.0 liter six cylinder engine. While the engine is the same for both trims of the 2010 vehicle, the horsepower produced is quite different. The 128i produces 230 horsepower, while the 135i produces a staggering 300 horsepower. With the 300 horsepower, the 2010 vehicle trim 135i can run from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just 5.1 seconds.
Each trim within the vehicle comes with a standard 6 speed manual transmission. For an upgrade of $1,325, a 6 speed automatic transmission can be purchased. For a further performance upgrade, purchasers of the vehicle can select a turbocharged gas engine. Purchasing a turbo charged gas engine will cost between $5,000 and $7,000 depending on trim and model.
EPA for the automobile has not been analyzed yet, but the 2010's engine is almost an identical engine as the 2009 automobile. The 2009 vehicle had fuel economy of 17 to 18 miles per gallon for city driving and 25 to 28 miles per gallon for highway driving. Theses fuel efficiency ratings are among the best for small luxury high performance cars so buyers should be quite pleased with this performance.
